Philadelphia’s Robert Hazard was probably best known as the guy who originally wrote “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” which was later made popular by Cyndi Lauper. In 1982, he had this minor new wave hit for RCA records. Unfortunately, Robert died of pancreatic cancer in 2008 at the age of 60. (Big ups to Jordy Trachtenberg for putting me on to this song).
