I guarantee you this will be the only time you’ll ever see John Cougar Mellencamp on the Bomarr Blog. While I’m not a fan, I heard this unique cover of David Bowie‘s “The Man Who Sold The World” recently, and I have to admit, there’s some part of me that likes it. This is from his first album and was recorded in 1975 when Johnny was just a 24-year-old burgeoning rock star. Say what you will about the man, but I dig this version of this song.
