Classic Warren Zevon track from his self-titled 1976 album. This has been recorded by many others, from Linda Ronstadt to GG Allin, but Warren did it first. As a side note, I’d highly recommend the biography written by his wife: I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead: The Dirty Life and Times of Warren Zevon. Excellent read. Even if you’re not familiar with his work, you’ll be a fan by the time you’re done.
