Unknown Mortal Orchestra started out as a one-man band, but after getting a bit of attention (mainly from Fat Possum, who UMO has recently signed to), founder Ruben Nielson decided to add a couple of members. The music is a mix of beats and psych-rock, and I’ve been loving it lately. This track was originally on their self-titled EP (pictured above), but it also showed up as the opening track on their debut self-titled full-length for Fat Possum, which you can buy here.
