I’ve been enjoying this record quite a bit lately. This opening track really sucked me in. This trio from Dallas, TX makes music that sounds like My Bloody Valentine if My Bloody Valentine played “stoner rock” and not “shoegaze”. (Sidenote: After typing this, I did a bit more research, and they refer to themselves on their Blogger page as “stonegaze”). Their new 9-song record, As High As The Highest Heavens And From The Center To The Circumference Of The Earth, just came out about 3 weeks ago. Highly recommended.
