T La Rock – “Lyrical King (from the Boogie Down Bronx)”

This T La Rock record was released in 1987 on Fresh/Sleeping Bag Records. Fresh is known for some of the earlier EPMD releases, while Sleeping Bag Records was founded by avant-garde musician Arthur Russell. This record featured some production from Kurtis Mantronix, as well as some beatboxing from Greg Nice of Nice & Smooth. A true classic hip hop release.
