“Skin Cell” is the first collaboration between video artist Mark Bell and up-and-coming musician Matthew De Kersaint Giraudeau (aka Dogtanion), and is a four-minute short exploring identity and the process of self-reflection. The film was made over the course of 2005-2006 and has been entirely constructed (music and video) through the manipulation of a flatbed scanner to produce a frenzy of distorted images and sounds.
