Former Brooklyn punk club bouncer Just-Ice has had some heavy hitters taking care of his production over the years. This album, 1986’s Back To The Old School was produced by Kurtis Mantronik (Mantronix), Just-Ice’s Kool & Deadly was produced by KRS-One, his fourth album Masterpiece was produced by Grandmaster Flash, and in recent years he’s worked with DJ Premier. As the title suggests, this is classic old-school hip-hop.
