Junkyard Band was an 80’s go-go band from Washington, DC that consisted mostly of kids, ranging in age from 8 to 13. When they started, they didn’t have the money to purchase real instruments, so they made do with what they had. Pots and pans, buckets, hubcaps, whatever they could get their hands on. They ended up being picked up by Def Jam, who released this 12″ in 1986. These guys have opened for Salt-N-Pepa, 2pac, Beastie Boys, and Slayer, among others.
