I think Garnet Mimms is my new favorite soul singer. I found him while browsing the always-incredible Ghostcapital blog a while back. Garnet is everything Cee Lo Green aspires to be. No discredit to Cee Lo. The man has an amazing voice, but Garnet’s “As Long As I Have You” was Gnarls Barkley‘s “Crazy” before Gnarls Barkley even existed.
