Footage of Courtney Love Fronting Faith No More Finally Surfaces

This video is a bit of a “holy grail” for Faith No More fans. For many years, it has been rumored that Courtney Love fronted the band for a very brief period in the early 80s. Long before her rock start/grunge widow days. No recordings had existed with her in the band, and definitely no video footage. About a week ago, a video popped up on YouTube from a San Francisco public access show. The video featured footage of Faith No More from 1984, consisting of Mike Bordin (drums), Roddy Bottum (keys), Billy Gould (bass), Mark Bowen (guitar) and Courtney Love (vocals). It’s mostly unlistenable with Courtney singing, but it’s interesting to see that this actually happened at one point in history. The first half of this video is definitely worth watching as well. It features some amazing footage of Flipper from 1983.
