After a successful first season talking to hip hop legend Prince Paul about his eclectic career, Open Mike Eagle has set his sights on another legend: producer/MC El-P of Company Flow/Run the Jewels fame. The first two episodes have aired so far, where they discuss El’s hip hop beginnings as a kid, and the creation of the classic Company Flow record Funcrusher Plus. El-P has been incredibly prolific over the years, so there’s a lot to talk about. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of it.
