From an upcoming compilation for Nueva Forma Records. The Bear and The Sea is Portland, Oregon’s Damon Sheeley. He refers to his music best when he calls this project “a storybook, with each album or song being a new story or chapter — essentially, the evolution of his life told in melodic form.” He’s currently working on a full length, and you can hear some more of his music, including remixes of Common and Blackbird Blackbird over at his Soundcloud page.
