Circle Into Square has recently reissued this long out-of-print split EP Brand New Crime from mic.edu and Substance Abuse, which originally came out on Rocketship Records (Emanon, Zion I, Styles of Beyond) back in 1998. Two of mic.edu‘s members, Eriksolo and Quarterbar, went on to form Meanest Man Contest. This reissue is dedicated to the memory of mic.edu‘s Lafura Jackson (A-Twice), who succumbed to cancer back in 2000 at the age of 24.
