Elsa Kuhn is a dressmaker and a serious fan of music. Honestly, it looks like she just went through my record collection for inspiration. I’m very impressed to not only see some classic album covers in here, but some cult classics like American Water by the Silver Jews, or Throbbing Gristle’s “20 Jazz Funk Greats”. That these are all meticulously handmade and embroidered on felt is incredible to me. Not only is it an impressive display of a special skill, it’s also an outstanding example of Elsa’s patience.
