Whomadewho – “Flat Beat” (Mr Oizo Cover)

First off, I have to say that in general, I won’t even listen to mixes that people send me as blog submissions. I just don’t have the time to listen to hour-long house music or acid jazz dj mixes, so when I saw this submission show up in my email, I ALMOST disregarded it. That is, until I saw that this mix included funk covers of Gary Numan, Mr. Oizo, Radiohead and more. I gave it a shot, and I’m glad I did. These covers are actually really great, drum heavy covers of some already great songs.
