There are a million 8-bit/chiptune tributes, covers, etc out there these days, especially now that apps like Nanoloop are now readily available on the iPhone and whatnot. To be honest, with the exception of Crashfaster and some others, I don’t tend to pay too much attention, but there’s something about this new 8-bit version from Inverse Phase of NIN‘s Pretty Hate Machine (dubbed Pretty Eight Machine here) that got my attention. I’m still not sure what it is, but give it a listen. It’s great.
